Our Mission Statement: To uphold the integrity of the breed by withholding the standard and producing dogs with good temperaments, soundness, and size. We believe that a dog’s ability to move and have the stamina to live up to what they were bred to do is as important as the dog’s ability to be big. Our ultimate goal is to produce wonderful companions and show dogs that live up to what a mastiff is supposed to be according to the Mastiff Club of America which is a massive dog with the impression of grandeur and dignity yet sound. To get the complete mastiff standard go to our favorite links and click on MCOA.

About Us: We are a family a four who live on two acres in North Texas. We have a deep love for our family, friends and especially our dogs. My husband is an army veteran who now works as a Systems Engineer. He is the backbone of our family and I couldn’t breathe without him. He is a wonderful husband, father, and teacher. Our two little girls are beautiful, intelligent, and most definitely keep us on our toes. They give great socialization skills to our guests and our puppies. I am the mother of all two legged and four legged creatures  living in this home. I like to think of myself as being passionate about whatever it is I am doing.

How we started in mastiffs: Back in 2005 we went to Topanga Canyon California to see a litter of mastiff puppies….well and the rest is history. We have absolutely fallen in love with the breed. My husband and I both have been around dogs all of our lives so to add a new breed to our lives was nothing new, but little did we know how much it would change where we were going in dog ownership. We, like many, didn’t know the ins and outs of breeding, let alone confirmation. Dog shows were something that you watch on T.V. I never imagined we would have a dog that was shown let alone be able to do it ourselves. We have had our share of bumps and bruises in getting off the ground with our mission, but it is from those injuries that we have learned and continue to learn and perfect our goals. It’s not always easy to find people willing to help but fortunately we have been blessed to have been mentored and befriended by some outstanding people and feel that we have a great support system from without their love and support Ol Glory may never have existed. Thank you Pam Gilley, Bonnie Blink and Jackie Spiars for everything!

Now that the beginning has come and gone we look forward to the future. The future includes adding argentine dogos to Ol’ Glory family.
